inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The North Sumatra Regional Police's Drug Criminal Investigation Directorate successfully raided a narcotics storage warehouse located on Sekolah Gang Padang street, Martubung Village, Medan Labuhan District, Medan City.
During the raid, officers arrested four suspects known to be part of a drug trafficking network originating from Thailand.
"This disclosure began with information from the public regarding a house suspected of being frequently used as a location for drug transactions. The raid was carried out on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m.," said the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief through the Director of Drugs Criminal Investigation, Senior Superintendent Jean Calvijn Simanjuntak, on Sunday (8/3/2025).
Jean Calvijn added that the North Sumatra Regional Police's Drugs Criminal Investigation Directorate's Special Team immediately conducted an investigation and conducted surveillance, ultimately leading to the raid.
Then, they secured 4 men, namely RR (32), IS (45), and FM (42), and one person who was also secured was FA with positive urine.
"This raid successfully uncovered the activities of a drug syndicate that was storing various types of narcotics in large quantities, ranging from crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy pills to ketamine, as well as happy water and vape liquid," he added.
During the raid, officers seized a large quantity of drugs, including 26,000 grams (26 kg) of crystal methamphetamine, some packaged in GuanYinWang brand Chinese tea, 2,400 grams of ketamine, and 39,650 ecstasy pills (16,199 grams) of various colors and brands, including Tesla, Rolex, and Transformer.
