Inp.polri.go.id - West Lampung.  Superintendent Ryky Widya Muharom, the Head of West Lampung Sub-regionalPolice, regretted the destruction of the Suoh forestry office by local residents following a tiger attack. "We sympathize with the victims, but we regret the destructive actions by the residents. The Police and the Lambar Military District Command have formed task forces and teams to hunt down wild animals," he said earlier this week.  He urged village leaders to stress the importance of maintaining peace within the community, as antaranews.com reported. "We're all striving to swiftly resolve this situation. If there's a threat to human lives, measures against the tiger can be taken," Chief Ryky asserted. He appealed to the public to refrain from such acts of violence, pledging their utmost effort to manage conflicts between tigers and humans.  "I urge all Suoh residents not to engage in anarchic behavior or blame each other. Let's work together to end this conflict peacefully," he emphasized. Sugeng Hari, a member of the West Lampung District Legislative Council, representing Suoh residents, called on the task force to take decisive action against the tiger. "After today's incident, we, the Suoh residents, call on the task force to take immediate action against the tiger," said Sugeng.  The incident began when Samanan (41), a resident of Sukamarga Village in Suoh sub-district, was attacked by a wild tiger while working in his garden.  He was able to escape and was taken to the Suoh Community Health Center, and later referred to the Liwa Regional Hospital for further medical treatment.
