Indonesian National Police (INP) reveals the security and order situation on December 18th, 2023 during 2023-2024 Mantap Brata Operation is well secured, although the criminal incident numbers are quite higher than December 17th, 2023. “During the 2023-2024 Mantap Brata Operation, generally the situation is safe, orderly, and under control,” says Head of Public Information Department, Senior Superintendent Nurul Azizah on Monday (12/19/2023). Nurul detailed that the criminal actions on December 18th, 2023 saw an increase of 502 cases or 58.30% than December 17th, 2023. “There are 1,362 criminal actions, 23 cases of violations, 22 cases of disruptions, 10 cases of disaster, and 405 cases of traffic accidents,” she reveals. Moreover, the traffic accidents have 59 fatalities, 39 people suffered major injuries, and 365 suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, material losses reached IDR 1,375,800,000. (ad/inp/pr/nm)
