Inp.polri.go.id – Timika. The Damai Cartenz Operations successfully neutralized another Armed Criminal Group member in Tembagapura on Thursday (4/4/2024). The second member of the Armed Criminal Group taken down by the security officials is Abu Bakar Kogoya, 28, in Utikini, Tembagapura District, Timika Regency. The Head of Damai Cartenz Ops, Superintendent Faizal Ramadhani explains that on Friday (4/5/2024) the two bodies of the Armed Criminal Group have been identified. “Yes, yesterday we reported the news about Abu Bakar Kogoya. His ranks in the Armed Criminal Group is the General Ops Commander of Intan Jaya Kodap 8, West papua,” says Faizal. On the other hand, the second member identified by the police is Damianus Magay alias Natan Wanimbo. His identity was revealed after the police found his identity card in his body. Other than reviewing his physical traits and checking his identity to the Gusby Waker Armed Criminal Group who are now in detention, Damianus Magay revealed another alias as Natan Wanimbo who is the General Ops Commander in Sorong to Marauke. Moreover, the Head of Damai Cartenz Public Relations, Superintendent Bayu Suseno announced to the public who knows or is part of the family of the two Armed Criminal Group members to immediately report to the police with sufficient evidence. At the end of its statement, Bayu explains that the two bodies were planned to be buried around Utikini, Tembagapura district, Mimika Regency if none of their families came to retrieve them.
