Police Secures Election Votes at Two Polling Stations in Heram District

Inp.polri.go.id – Jayapura. The Sub-regional City Police of Jayapura City escorts the election logistics for Continued Election Vote (PSL) at two Polling Stations in Heram District, specifically in Waena to ensure its safe arrival. The PSL is part of the voting process that was resumed due to technical error and incomplete on February 14th. Polling station 37 and polling station 39 who are conducting the PSL are guaranteed its safety by the police as security members are dispatched to the locations. The Deputy Chief of Sub-regional City Police of Jayapura City, Superintendent Deni Herdiana states the supervisors who are monitoring the polling stations other than providing mental support for security members, was also to give assurement to the people that the security situation is guaranteed with the presence of the police. “This democratic festives is our moment. As good citizens of Indonesia, Deni reminds the people of Jayapura City to accept the end result whoever wins this election. “If your favorite candidates did not win the election, don’t lose heart, there are still representatives who will voice your concern, who will fight for the people of Jayapura City,” said Deni.
