Metro Jaya Regional Police Drug Criminal Investigation Directorate have successfully uncovered and arrested suspects for smuggling weed, LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) and ecstasy powder, along with tools to make the ecstasy, with a total weight of 66.9 kg. The drug uncovering was revealed by the police from different locations, which are Penjaringan, Cikoko, Kalibata, and Clasdrntein Ecstasy Lab/Home Industry at Sentraland Apartment in Cengkareng. “The evidence we successfully confiscated are 66.9 kg of weed, 2,500 gram of LSD, blue powder which are positive to be meth, and tools to make the ecstasy,” said Metro Jaya Regional Police Drug Criminal Investigation Director, Senior Superintendent Hengki Haryadi on Friday (3/15/2024). The director also revealed that on their case disclosure, police have arrested five suspects which are IP, DY. HP, NK, and AI alias B. From the arrest of the five suspects, police confiscated 66.9 kg of weed, 2,500 of LSD, 416 grams of Meth, and raw materials used to create ecstasy. Suspects will be charged with Article 113 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 114 paragraph (2) Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with a minimum sentence of five years in prison and a maximum of 20 years in prison.
