inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has seized another asset from the online gambling network slot8278. From this network, assets worth IDR 89 billion were previously confiscated.

“The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency Cyber Unit has blocked the asset worth of IDR 36,860,289,000 which is linked to an online gambling site,” says the Cyber Criminal Investigation Director of INP Criminal Investigation Agency, Brigadier General Himawan Bayu Aji in his official statement on Tuesday (11/12/2024).

The asset, said Himawan, was found following thorough investigation on the flow of funds from an international online gambling site network that offers various types of gambling, such as slots, poker, dice, dominoes, as well as various other types of card games.

This step shows the firm commitment of the police in eradicating online gambling activities that are detrimental to the lives of many.

"This case was found through the involvement of one of the payment service providers who facilitated deposit payments for the site's operations," he said.

Currently, the police investigators are still conducting further investigations and tracking other assets related to the online gambling site network.
