The Metro Jaya Regional Police studied the case document of the inactive Corruption Eradication Commission Chief Firli Bahuri extortion allegation towards the former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL). The Special Criminal Investigation Director of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Safri Simanjuntak confirms that his party indeed is currently looking into the case document. He adds that he will provide further details regarding the topic. Reported by Beritasatu news office, High Prosecutor's Office of DKI Jakarta have returned the case file of Firli Bahuri extortion case against SYL on last Friday (12/28/2023). The file is registered with Case number No: BP/213/XII/RES.3.3/2023/Ditreskrimsus dated 14 December 2023 with the primary suspect of Firli Bahuri. According to the acting head of Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Herlangga Wisnu Murdianto have enclose the formal and material requirements that must be met by the police in accordance with research results done by public prosecutor.
