inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police is investigating four reports related to the mass protest that ended in chaos at the DPR/MPR Building, Monday (8/25/2025). To specify, three reports relate to alleged assault and one report regarding car vandalism.

"From yesterday until today there have been four police reports," said Vice Director of General Criminal Investigation Directorate of Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police, Superintendent Putu Kholis Aryana, Tuesday (8/26/2025).

According to him, the investigation process for these four reports will be further investigated for the 155 adults who have been detained. Investigators are also collecting evidence to determine their legal status.

"We are conducting an in-depth investigation simultaneously while questioning the 155 people who were detained. We are also focusing on collecting evidence at the crime scene and video recordings that we obtained from victims and witnesses," he said.

On the other hand, he said that they are still collecting data on what public facilities were damaged during the demonstration. Investigators have not yet named any suspects in this case.
