inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Investigators from the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency brought fugitive drug dealer Erwin bin Iskandar, also known as Koko Erwin, to the INP Criminal Investigation Agency building. He arrived at the building at 11:35 a.m.
Koko Erwin arrived after being arrested while attempting to flee to Malaysia. He appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound to his leg as he needed assistance when he exited the investigators' car.
Investigators then transported him in a wheelchair to the investigation room for questioning.
"It's true that firm, measured action was taken due to the attempted escape and resistance during arrest," explained the Head of Sub-Directorate IV of the Narcotics Crime Directorate of INP Criminal Investigation Agency, Senior Superintendent Handik Zusen, on Friday (2/27/2026).
In this case, Ko Erwin was charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) and/or Article 137 letter a of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustments and Article 609 paragraph (2) of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustments.
