inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police revealed the method behind the murder case of MIP (37) which begins as a kidnapping that ended in murder. The victim is known to be the Head of the BRI Cempaka Putih Branch who was kidnapped from Lotte Mart Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta.

Head of the Sub-Directorate of Violent Crimes of the Directorate of General Crimes, Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Superintendent Abdul Rahim, explained that before targeting the victim, the suspect DH had been searching for the target for a month. However, the suspect did not get any results in getting acquainted with any bank branch manager.

The search, explained Abdul, was carried out together with suspect C alias K. In the initial plan, the suspect plans to directly meet with the target first and had a business talk with him.

"So, in searching for the victim, they spread their men to gather the information. From K’s network; they managed to get his business card, which led DH to opt for the first option which is to kidnap him,” said Abdul on Tuesday (9/16/2025).

In this case, the kidnapping that ended in murder was carried out by C alias K, DH, AAM, JP, E, REH, JRS, AT, EWB, MU, DSD, Kopda FH, Sergeant N, AW, EWH, RS, and AS. In addition, there is one fugitive with the initials EG who is still being pursued.
