inp.polri.go.id - Palangka Raya. The Central Kalimantan Regional Police Medical and Health Division held a Forum and Group Discussion (FGD) to discuss how to improve the health service quality by the police in the region. The FGD took place at the Arya Dharma Hall on Tuesday (9/16/2025).

In the FGD, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Iwan Kurniawan, says that the FGD is a strategic step in bolstering the health service quality of the police institution. 

Iwan said that this FGD is expected to generate concrete ideas and strategic thinking in order to improve the quality of health services, both within the police institution and for the wider community.

"This demonstrates our commitment to supporting the health sector of both police personnel and the general public," he said.

Furthermore, Iwan highlighted the importance of improving forensic medical services, which are one of the vital functions of Police hospitals. This includes both human resources, medical and non-medical personnel.

"This improvement is the key to making health services more professional, with integrity, and able to meet existing needs," he stressed.

He hopes that the management system at Bhayangkara Hospital and other health service units will receive equal attention, so that they can run more effectively, efficiently, transparently, and provide ease for the public in accessing services.

In his closing statement, Chief Iwan also emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Police Hospital and the local government and other health service units in Central Kalimantan.
