Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police says they will collaborate with Jakarta Provincial Government in curbing illegal park attendants. This step is in accordance with the Jakarta Governor policy to curb the illegal parking attendant through Jakarta Transportation Office.

The Head of Traffic Director of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Latif Usman explains that the steps are generally not so difficult to do. However, cross-sectoral synergy would play an integral role in executing the plan.

“Definitely (we will join the operation). So here’s the thing, the problem of this illegal parking attendant is a matter of general order, which means this is part of our duty and responsibility,” says Latif on Thursday (5/9/2024).

According to Latif, the curb of illegal parking attendants also needs an active role from the general public and to report to the police if any of them are feeling disturbed by the presence of illegal parking attendants.
