Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Police assure cars using the official plate number of “Z” are not exempt from ticketing if they violate the traffic law.

“These cars using the official plate number are not free from the law. If they are found violating the law, we will still enforce the law against them,” said Metro Jaya Regional Police Traffic Director, Senior Superintendent Latif Usman on Thursday (5/9/2024).

Latif says his party will also enforce the law against those who use the fake official plate number. In the official plate number itself, there are special number that can easily identify if they are police members or not.

“Our members in the field can identify the plate number and will approach suspicious drivers, especially when they violate the laws, as many of them tend to do so,” said Latif.

People are also urged to report to the police if they find any vehicles using the plate numbers and violate the law as they are allegedly the fake ones.
