Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Campaign during the New Year and Christmas holidays would certainly make things more colorful as there would be many activities around the days. This marks the importance of public security and safety during the year-end holiday, states Traffic Corps Chief, Inspector General Firman Santyabudi. “What’s important is that on this year-end holiday, we would also be in the atmosphere of election campaign. This means that there will be one more additional activity during the holiday season that we have to secure,” explains the Traffic Corps Chief. Firman says that during the holiday, his party would also secure public infrastructures such as places of worship and tourist destinations. At least there are 27,037 locations that would be secured. “According to the latest data that we have received from our Assistant Operation, there would be 27,037 location that we will have to secure, be it places of worship, terminal, port, airport, and other,” says Firman. He adds that for the tourist destinations, there would be 1,495 location that will be secured during holiday operations.
