Papua - Monday morning, August 2, 2021, at 08.50 local time, the Police personnel from Mappi Departmental Police came to 1 State Senior High School of Obaa at Irian street, Kepi, Obaa district. The Monday morning ceremony was led by Chief of Mappi Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Damianus Dedy Susanto. The event was in synergy with the headmaster, teachers, and the Chief of Traffic Police Corps of Mappi Departmental Police. During the ceremony, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Damianus met the full-spirit student, ready to study. Chief of Departmental Police stated the importance of learning and achievement enthusiasm to reach what they want. Damianus is also grateful that many Papuan students pass the Police personnel recruitment this year. "I am really grateful because our juniors from Mappi regency pass the Police's Non-commissioner Officers Candidate Recruitment and will be studying at State Police School". Damianus also reminds the student to be aware during this Covid-19 pandemic by improving Health Protocols and wearing a face mask every day. Chief of Traffic Police Corps also asked the student to be careful in driving and completed the requirements such as driving licenses and helmets. Damianus concluded his ceremony instruction by advising students of 1 State Senior High School of Obaa to avoid alcoholic drinks, either locally sourced or from out of Papua, because it could damage the future and achievements of students during the study years.
