inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto assured that the state will always be present for the people, especially those in remote areas, so that they can enjoy a good quality of life and contribute to improving the welfare of local communities.

"We have just realized, and we must always understand, that the state must be present for the most isolated people. People who are farthest from major centers of life must enjoy a good quality of life," said President Prabowo during the virtual inauguration of the construction of bridges and springs in Jakarta on Thursday (8/13/2026).

The President specifically expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Indonesian Military (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (INP) for their contribution to the construction of 3,395 bridges and 3,000 clean water sources.

Of these, 895 bridges were built by the Polri, connecting a total of 1,314 villages across Indonesia and serving approximately 2 million people. The total length of the bridges is 19.2 kilometers.

The Head of State called the steps taken by the TNI and INP as a noble mission and a form of devotion to the Indonesian people. This, he said, is clear evidence that they work for the benefit of the people.

"You are the people's army, the people's police, born of the people, fighting alongside the people, giving your best to the people, and ultimately, you will also return to the people," said Prabowo.

Development itself is a concrete form of mutual cooperation in Indonesia, working together to build infrastructure in areas with difficult access, some even in remote areas.

"Today, you see proof once again that the military and the police have no other aspirations, no other desires except to serve their people, to serve their country," noted Prabowo Subianto.
