Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.   Haris Rusli Moti, the Commander of the National Campaign Team for Volunteer Affairs (TKN Golf), said that president elect Prabowo Subianto has requested his supporters to cease planned peaceful protests outside the Constitutional Court (MK) on Friday (19/4/2024).

He conveyed Prabowo's instruction to respect the ongoing legal process at the Court, according to antaranews.com.

Prabowo, who is a Minister of Defense, urged his supporters to trust the Court to decide on the disputes of the 2024 Presidential Election.

He discouraged political pressure, including mass movements or Amicus curiae actions, preventing possible clashes with supporters of other candidates. 

His campaign team apologized for canceling the planned peaceful protest, citing the high public trust in the electoral process. 

Moti called on his supporters to refrain from participating in any demonstrations at the Constitutional Court on Friday. He assured that the volunteer team would work overnight to communicate the cancellation to all supporters who planned to attend the protest.
