inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto asked the public to record videos using their mobile phones if they encounter any actions by officials that violate regulations and report them directly to him.

"We have the technology. So, if there is any improper behavior by the state officials, I ask you the people to record it. Don't resist, don't fight, just record it, and report it directly to me," said President Prabowo on Wednesday (5/20/2026).

He also ordered all ministers and heads of agencies in the Red and White Cabinet to clean up their institutions of corruption that hinders Indonesia's economic progress.

"All government institutions must work well. We must eliminate corruption, abuse of authority, and practices that hinder our economic progress," President Prabowo added.

While he believes that the majority of state civil servants (ASN) are performing well and are not involved in corruption, he highlighted the presence of a small number of corrupt individuals.

Regarding oversight efforts, President Prabowo urged officials at the central and regional government levels, at the district, city, and provincial levels, to follow suit and clean up their respective internal affairs.
