inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The collaboration between the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) and the Indonesian National Police (INP) Special Detachment (Densus) 88 Anti-Terror (AT) continues to be strengthened through child protection approaches, digital literacy, and strengthening community resilience, as part of efforts to build a young generation that is adaptive to developments in the digital space.

The Head of BNPT, Eddy Hartono, emphasized that building community resilience in the digital era requires the involvement of all elements of the nation.

"Building community resilience is a shared responsibility. Families, schools, the government, communities, and all elements of the nation have a vital role in creating a safe environment that supports the growth and development of the younger generation," said Eddy.

According to him, sustainable prevention efforts need to be strengthened through education, strengthening digital literacy, and community-based early detection, so that communities are equipped to recognize social changes and respond appropriately.

He emphasized that this approach aligns with the mandate of Law Number 5 of 2018, which places national preparedness, counter-radicalization, and deradicalization as part of a collaborative, cross-sectoral effort.

"Effective prevention grows from within the community. Therefore, strengthening families, schools, communities, and social spaces is an important foundation for building collective resilience," explained Eddy.

As part of strengthening collaboration, the BNPT continues to encourage the involvement of various stakeholders through the Terrorism Prevention Coordination Forum (FKPT), community-based programs, and strengthening education and literacy systems in the regions.
