inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, emphasized a shared commitment to supporting the government's program to achieve a Zero Over-Dimensional and Overload (ODOL) Indonesia by 2027. The Head of the Traffic Corps stated that this was in accordance with the direction of the INP Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
This statement was made by Agus while attending the 3rd National Conference of the Indonesian Trucking Entrepreneurs Association (Aptrindo) in Central Jakarta on Wednesday (May 20, 2025).
Agus also expressed his appreciation for Aptrindo's support for various government policies, particularly in the transportation and logistics sectors.
The government and stakeholders have held discussions regarding improving regulations on ODOL from upstream to downstream. According to him, all aspects, from administration to technical implementation, are a shared concern to achieve the 2027 target.
"We have held discussions and agreed that improving regulations from upstream to downstream, including this administration, has been discussed. And in 2027, moving towards Zero ODOL, we must prepare together," added Agus.
The handling of ODOL is currently in preparation, encompassing improvements across various sectors. Coordination and collaboration with transportation operators and goods owners continues to create a safer and more orderly logistics transportation system.
"Currently, ODOL handling is still under planning, with improvements across all sectors, including regulations and administration, and discussion with operators," explained Agus.
The success of the Zero ODOL program does not solely depend on law enforcement, but also requires collective awareness from all parties involved in the logistics distribution chain.
"Because it's not just law enforcement; the key to success is the entire upstream and downstream network. This ensures that the public and transportation sector understand that this is all for the sake of safety," he said.
