Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that the planned salary increase for civil servants in 2025 will be announced by President-elect Prabowo Subianto.

"The President-elect will announce it," she said Sri Mulyani during a press briefing at the Presidential Office in Jakarta on Monday (5/8/2024) after a limited Cabinet meeting led by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.

He has requested that the 2025 state budget draft accommodate programs proposed by President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka, according to antaranews.com.

In addition to a free nutritious food program, the salary increase for civil servants in 2025 will be announced by President-elect Prabowo. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto has confirmed the plan for the salary adjustment.

The plan has been outlined in the updated 2025 Macro Economic Framework and Key Fiscal Policy (KEM-PPKF) document. It includes a restructuring of employee expenses to cover salaries, regional performance allowances, pensions, and National Health Insurance (JKN).
