inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Metro Jaya Regional Police Vice Chief, Brigadier General Djati Wiyoto Abadhy saw that the role of security guards is not only for guards, but also to create a conducive investment climate.

“In the rapid economic and industrial advancement, the role of the security guard has become vital,” said Djati on Thursday (8/1/2024).

He explains that the presence of a professional security guard could provide a sense of security for investors and business actors, which would boost economic growth.

Then in the industrial development context, Djati says that the security guard plays a pivotal role in protecting company strategic assets.

“From guarding industry facilities and production, protecting intellectual property, to overseeing chain supply, the security guard is expected to have a good understanding in risk management,” explains Djati.

Furthermore, according to him, security guards also have to be able to identify, analyze, and respond to various security threats that may arise in a dynamic business environment.

“This skill not only protects company assets, but also supports business operational sustainability,” Djati says.
