President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and their delegation, has departed to Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following a three-day state visit to Beijing, China. During the visit, President Jokowi engaged in bilateral discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping and participated in the 3rd Belt and Road International Cooperation Forum, antaranews.com reported. Based on the information from the Presidential Secretariat Press Office, the President and the First Lady departed from Beijing to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at approximately 6.00 p.m. local time on Wednesday (18/10/23). At Beijing Capital International Airport, the distinguished individuals bidding farewell to the President and First Lady included Chinese Minister of Housing and Rural Development Ni Hong, Indonesian Ambassador to China Djauhari Oratmangun, and Indonesian Defense Attaché in Beijing Marine Brigadier General Benny P. Nadeak. Upon arrival in Riyadh, President Widodo reiterated his intention, as previously stated before departing for Beijing, to engage in a meeting with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and lead the inaugural ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Organization (GCC) summit.
