inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko Widodo formed a Task Force of Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Investment Acceleration to push the investment service in IKN, East Kalimantan.

The task force formation was mentioned in the Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 25 of 2024 concerning the Task Force for the Acceleration of Investment in IKN.

The consideration for the decree was to facilitate business actors in acquiring business permits, ease of doing business and investment across sectors and authorities.

In the decree, it was also mentioned that the task force directly answered to the president, while their duties consist of nine focuses.

The task force will be led by the Minister of Investment with the vice headed by the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning and Head of IKN Authority.

Every cost for carrying out the tasks will be from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget of the Ministry of Investment or other legal sources in accordance with the statutory provisions.

The Presidential Decree will be stipulated on August 5th, 2024 by President Jokowi and came into force on the date of enactment.
