President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo announced that the government has distributed ultrasonography (USG) equipment to 10,000 community health centers (puskesmas) nationwide, during his working visit to Grobogan Regency, Central Java, on Tuesday (23/1/2024). "We aim for widespread access to USG to enable early detection of pregnancies and ensure comprehensive data is sent to the data center in Jakarta," said the President said at Puskesmas Toroh 1 in Grobogan Regency. In addition to the ultrasound equipment, the government has provided baby weighing scales to numerous integrated health posts (posyandu) across Indonesia, furthering their commitment to addressing stunting. "As an initial measure, we have delivered 300 thousand weighing scales to puskesmas, significantly enhancing their capabilities. This ensures the monitoring of babies' weight, toddlers' height, and overall health examination. Our dedication to early intervention will persist with continuous improvements," the President said.
