Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated eight new Indonesian ambassadors to major partner countries and international organizations, including postings to the United States, Germany, and the United Nations.
The ceremony took place at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (25/8/2025), according to antaranews.com
Among the diplomats sworn in were Dwisuryo Indroyono Soesilo as Ambassador to the US, Abdul Kadir Jailani to Germany, Judha Nugraha to the UAE, and Umar Hadi to the UN in New York, Toferry Primada Soetikno to Mexico, Belize, El Salvador, and Guatemala, Andhika Chrisnayudhanto, to Brazil, Imam As’ari to Ecuador, Umar Hadi the United Nations (New York), International Seabed Authority, and other UN bodies, and Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro to the United Nations (Geneva), World Trade Organization, and other international organizations in Geneva.
The new ambassadors are tasked with advancing Indonesia’s diplomacy in trade, investment, and global security at a time of shifting geopolitical dynamics.
