Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto issued a stern condemnation on Sunday (5/4/2026) following the deaths of three Indonesian tactical personnel serving with the UNIFIL peacekeeping mission in Lebanon.

"We, as a nation, strongly condemn every heinous act that disrupts global peace and causes the loss of our finest soldiers," said President Prabowo Subianto via his official Instagram channel, as reported by antaranews.com.

The President honored the sacrifices of the posthumously promoted Major Zulmi Aditya Iskandar, First Sergeant M. Nur Ichwan, and Corporal Farizal Rhomadhon, who died while fulfilling a United Nations mandate. He said that the state will ensure their service is never forgotten and called on all citizens to reject any efforts to divide national unity. 

Authorities confirmed that these fallen peacekeepers have received extraordinary rank promotions as a tribute to their dedication, while the government continues to push for international accountability regarding the fatal incidents in the Middle East.
