Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated ten members of the Commission for Accelerating Police Reform at the Merdeka Palace on Friday (7/11/2025), appointing former Constitutional Court Chief Justice Jimly Asshiddiqie as chair.
“I will remain faithful to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and uphold all laws with the utmost integrity in service to the nation,” President Prabowo declared while leading the oath of office, echoed by the commission members, as reported by antaranews.com
The commission was established under Presidential Decree No. 122P/2025 to implement reforms within the Indonesian National Police (INP). Its members include INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Presidential Adviser Ahmad Dofiri, Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra, Deputy Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Otto Hasibuan, Tito Karnavian, Minister of law Supratman Andi Agtas, former Constitutional Court chief Mahfud MD, former INP chiefs Idham Aziz, and Badrodin Haiti.
The commission’s creation is to advance internal police reform amid public demands for greater accountability.
