Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto on Friday (12/12/2025)  inspected logs swept by flash floods into residential areas in Aceh Tamiang, Aceh, as part of his visit to disaster-hit locations in the province. 

The inspection aimed to assess damage, ensure emergency response, and identify environmental risks.

“Nature must be protected; trees cannot be cut recklessly, and local governments must tighten supervision,” President Prabowo said while speaking with officials and residents at the site.

The President stopped near a bridge where piles of logs and debris had damaged homes, accompanied by the Governor of Aceh and the Regent of Aceh Tamiang. He then visited evacuation shelters and a health post to check medical services and hear residents’ concerns.

President Prabowo emphasized that the central government remains committed to accelerating recovery efforts. He also expressed appreciation for public cooperation and assured victims that assistance would continue as conditions stabilize.
