Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto departed Jakarta for Bangkok on Saturday evening (17/5/2025), for an official visit to meet King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.
He was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
“The President will hold an audience with the King, followed by a formal welcome by the Prime Minister and a bilateral meeting between the two delegations,” said Yusuf Permana, the Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media Affairs, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The visit highlighted Indonesia’s effort to strengthen ties with key Southeast Asian partners. This trip is his second foreign visit this week, following a visit to Brunei on 14 May 2025. He is scheduled to return on Sunday.
