Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto summoned National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to his private residence in Hambalang, West Java, on Friday (24/4/2026). 

During the one-hour meeting, the President reviewed strategic reports regarding the ongoing transformation within the police force and the current state of national security.

“President Prabowo Subianto summoned the Police Chief to discuss national security and the general situation across various strategic sectors,” confirmed Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant ColonelTeddy Indra Wijaya, as cited by antaranews.com.. 

Chief Sigit reported on key programs, including the digitalization of public services, increased professionalism in recruitment, and collaborative efforts to maintain public order.

The briefing also highlighted the police’s role in supporting national initiatives such as food security, disaster response, and agricultural programs. Following this session, the President also met with Minister of Investment Rosan Roeslani to discuss expanding downstream industries into the agriculture and fisheries sectors, emphasizing a comprehensive approach to national development.
