Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP_) Commissioner General Wahyu Hadiningrat reaffirmed the police force's commitment on Thursday (8/10/2026) to eradicate thuggery, extortion, and illegal levies to safeguard businesses and national investments.

"Ensuring legal certainty, eradicating thuggery, and supporting national investment remain our primary commitments to guarantee security for the business community," he said.

Under the "Police with the Community" banner, the INP deputy Chief revealed that the INP had resolved 915 out of 1,281 cases involving disruptions to the business sector in 2026, achieving a 71.43 percent clearance rate. To foster a favorable investment climate, police conduct mediation and risk mitigation during initial construction phases to prevent security disruptions from escalating into criminal offenses.

Authorities also improved public response standards, setting a 10-second answer time target for the 110 Police Call Center while expanding local police officers to build public trust.
