Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto will embark on his first state visit to Beijing, China, from 8 to 10 November 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. confirmed on Tuesday (5/11/2024) 

During the visit, he is scheduled to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and other top government officials to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between Indonesia and China across various sectors.

According to a statement from the Ministry, his visit underscores Indonesia's commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with China. The visit comes at the invitation of President Xi himself.

Following China, Prabowo’s international agenda includes attending the APEC Summit in Peru from 10 to 16 November 2024 and the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 18 to 19 November 2024.

Before heading to China, President Prabowo is set to meet with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in Jakarta on 6 November 2024. Their discussions will cover key bilateral and regional issues, especially within the ASEAN framework, aiming to produce beneficial outcomes for both nations.
