Charles, a Persewar match official, received a six-match suspension for his involvement in pursuing and assaulting Persipal players.
In a separate incident on 15 November 2024, PSPS Pekanbaru officials Edward Riansyah and Hami Meagalky were reprimanded for entering the field and excessively protesting during their match against Bekasi City.
Bekasi City goalkeeper Cahya Supriadi, who is preparing for the 2024 AFF Championship, was suspended for four matches and fined Rp 5 million after a violent tackle that resulted in a red card.
