Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said that the holy month of Ramadan serves as a moment for Muslims to engage in acts of kindness and strengthen their faith.
"As the sun rises in the east, let every breath be dedicated to worshiping the Creator—spreading kindness and bringing benefits to others to seek His blessings," he said in a video message received in Jakarta on Friday (28/2/2025).
He further highlighted that Ramadan is also an opportunity to reinforce unity and solidarity among people. Chief Sigit also urged Muslims to deepen their devotion through worship and good deeds during this sacred month.
"On behalf of the Indonesian National Police, I wish all Muslims a blessed Ramadan. May this month bring us grace and forgiveness," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially declared Saturday as the first day of Ramadan, following the confirmation through the determination meeting, better known as isbat meeting.
