Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Criminal Investigation Agency has escalated the alleged forgery of 93 land ownership certificates (SHM) in Segarajaya Village, Bekasi, to a formal investigation.
"Following a review, we unanimously decided to upgrade the status from inquiry to investigation," said Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, the INP Criminal Investigation Agency's Director of General Crimes, on Friday (28/2/2025).
Investigators will finalize administrative procedures, notify prosecutors, and summon witnesses. Additional forensic tests on key evidence are pending.
"We have identified potential suspects but will uphold due process," he added, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The case, filed by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), involves altering SHM details—changing ownership names and shifting land coordinates, expanding its area, and relocating it from land to sea.
Investigators are working to verify all evidence to ensure a legally sound case.
