Police also continuously provides medical aid and trauma healing due to recent conflict in Rempang, says the Riau Island Police Public Relations Chief, Grand Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad. “The situation is under control and everything has returned to normal, there are no barricades anymore and people have returned to their daily activities. Meanwhile, Batam Concession Agency has continued their socialization and it went smoothly,” said Zahwani quoted from pmjnews on Monday (9/18/2023). Zahwani says several parties such as Minister of Investment / Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Bahlil Lahadalia, and Minister of Agrarian Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto, along with other stakeholders have helped resolving the conflicts.
