In anticipation of Eid al-Fitr, the Riau Regional Police conducted on Thursday (28/3/2024) a coordination meeting of the Ketupat Lancang Kuning Operation 2024 with key stakeholders ,including  Acting Governor SF Haryanto . Riau Police Chief Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal announced that the Ketupat Lancang Kuning Operation  2024 would run from 4 to 16 April, 2024. With 3,508 personnel involved, including 258 from the Riau Police, 1,421 from sub-regional police offices, and 1,829 from various agencies, the operation aims to ensure traveler safety and smooth travel. Chief Iqbal highlighted the importance of traffic security efforts, with 62 posts set up across the region. He emphasized the need for cooperation among stakeholders to ensure the operation's success. "We must collaborate and synergize to provide the best for the people of Riau Province," he remarked.. Chief  Iqbal instructed his team to provide satisfactory service and conduct extensive patrols in neighborhoods where residents have traveled for Eid al-Fitr.
