inp.polri.go.id – The Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, returned from Switzerland to Indonesia, on Thursday (02/06/22) afternoon local time after searching his eldest son, Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz, for eighth days. Quoting from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) reported that Ridwan Kamil ended the search for Eril in the Aare River, Switzerland, because he had to return to Indonesia to carry out his duties as Governor of West Java. "Monitoring of search efforts, coordinating with the Indonesian Embassy in Bern, and communication with Swiss authorities will be continued by Eril's uncle, Elpi Nazmuzaman and family representatives who arrived in Bern on Wednesday (01/06/22)," the embassy statement said in Bern. Previously, RK's wife, Atalia Praratya, also wrote a heartful message that she had returned to Indonesia. “Ril, I am sorry but mom has to return to Indonesia. I’ll leave you into the best care and protection of the God wherever you are,” wrote Atalia in her Instagram account. “God’s willing that you will not feel cold or hungry,” continued her writing. Ridwan Kamil and Atalia were previously in Switzerland to directly monitor the search for Eril. It is known that before their statement on their return today, Atalia and her husband had monitored the search locations along the banks of the Aare River on Wednesday (01/06/22).
