Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated there was an earthquake that shakes Sabang, Aceh with a magnitude of 5.2 that occurred on Tuesday (9/12/2023) morning at 05:09 a.m. BMKG data shows that the epicenter of the earthquake was in the sea with the depth of 102 km at 83 km southwest of Sabang City with the coordinate of 5.82 NL and 94.57 WL. “It was felt in Banda Aceh III,” wrote official account of BMKG, @InfoBMKG. Until this was released, there are still no official report of damages and victims of the earthquake from BMKG.
