SAR Team Recovers Second Child's Body Swept Away in Jakarta

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. In a joint effort, the Search and Rescue (SAR) team recovered the body of a child who had been swept away in the Mampang River, South Jakarta.
The discovery was made approximately one kilometer downstream from the initial search area on Sunday (3/3/3034).
Assistant Superintendent David Yunior Kanitero, Chief of the Mampang Police Office, said, "The second body was found about 40 meters from the first."
The body of Fais (15) was located an hour after April's (14) body was initially discovered. Rescuers encountered the body during their search, allowing for its immediate retrieval and transportation to the Mampang Prapatan Regional Hospital.
With the recovery of both children, the SAR operation initiated on Saturday came to a close.
