Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Starting Monday, 4 to 17 March  2024, the Jambi Regional Police will conduct the Siginjai 2024 safety operation. This initiative, aimed at preparing for Ramadan, was announced on Sunday (3/3/24). Senior Superintendent Dhafi, the Head of Jambi's Traffic Directorate, outlined 8 priority violations to be addressed during this operation. He emphasized the importance of all road users adhering to traffic regulations, urging them to prioritize safety. "I continuously urge the public to comply with traffic rules. Let's not wait for enforcement to act. Your safety matters," Chief Dhafi said. Here are the 8 violations that will be targeted during the Siginjai 2024 Safety Operation by the Jambi Police:

1. Using a cellphone while driving
2. Carrying more than one passenger on a motorcycle
3. Riding against traffic flow
4. Unauthorized use of signal lights (strobes) and sirens
5. Overloaded or oversized vehicles (ODOL)
6. Unauthorized or secret license plates
7. Exceeding the speed limit
8. Using exhaust pipes that do not comply with specifications
