Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Indonesia, Faisal Abdullah H. Amodi, has reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims. 

Speaking at a press conference in Tangerang on Saturday night, (25/4/2026), the Ambassador emphasized that providing world-class service to the world’s largest Hajj delegation remains a top priority for King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

"The goal of this initiative is to provide ease to Hajj pilgrims before they even depart their home country," Ambassador Faisal explained, as cited by antaranews.com.

A key highlight of this year’s cooperation is the expansion of the Mecca Route initiative. This service allows pilgrims to complete all immigration, health, and baggage procedures at Indonesian departure airports. Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, pilgrims can bypass traditional entry queues and head directly to their accommodations via dedicated channels.

Meanwhile, Indonesia's Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Mochamad Irfan Yusuf, said that 25,200 pilgrims across 56 flight groups) have already been dispatched to Medina, with all operations running smoothly under the bilateral agreement.
