Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu'ti announced on Tuesday (4/3/2025) adjustments to school schedules during Ramadan, including an earlier start for the 2025 Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

The revised schedule, agreed upon with the Minister of Home Affairs and the Minister of Religious Affairs, will be formalized in a joint ministerial circular.

“We are awaiting final signatures on the Joint Circular of Three Ministers,” Minister Mu’ti said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Following discussions with the Minister of Transportation and alignment with work-from-anywhere (WFA) policies, the government decided to begin WFA seven days before Eid.

Independent learning at home will conclude on 5 March 2025, with in-person classes resuming from 6 to 20 March 2025. The new Eid break is set for 21 to 28 March 2025 and 2 to 8 April 2025 with classes resuming on 9 April 2025.

Previously, the holiday was scheduled for 26 March to 8 April 2025 under a prior ministerial circular on Ramadan learning arrangements.
