Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State-owned Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID) has appointed Maroef Sjamsoeddin as its new President Director, replacing Hendi Prio Santoso, following a General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) on Monday.

Maroef Sjamsoeddin is a retired Air Vice Marshal of the Indonesian Air Force and served as President Director of Freeport Indonesia in 2015. Before joining Freeport, Maroef, who is the brother of Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, was the Deputy Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) from 2011 to 2014.

Alongside Maroef, MIND ID also introduced changes to its leadership structure, appointing Dany Amrul Ichdan as Vice President Director, Dilo Seno Widagdo as Portfolio & Business Development Director, Akhmad Fazri as Finance Director, and Nur Hidayat Udin as Risk Management & HSSE Director, as reported by antaranews.com on Tuesday (4/3/2025).

In addition to its board of directors, MIND ID reshuffled its board of commissioners, with Fuad Bawazier as Chairman and new appointments including Agung Setya Imam Effendi, Nugroho Widyotomo, Pamitra Wineka, Astera Primanto Bhakti, Grace Natalie, and Tri Winarno
