Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State-owned energy company PT Pertamina (Persero)’s Chief Financial Officer, Emma Sri Martini, confirmed that the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has assured that no critical assets will be seized or sealed in connection to the ongoing corruption probe into crude oil and refinery product governance that it will not not disrupt its operations.
“The Attorney General’s Office guarantees that Pertamina’s operational, distribution, and energy supply assets remain unaffected,” she said on Tuesday (4/3/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
AGO’s assurance was made after consultations between Pertamina and authorities regarding alleged corruption involving PT Pertamina Subholding and Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS) from 2018 to 2023.
Emma stressed that government support remains firm, ensuring confidence among lenders and stakeholders.
The AGO’s investigation has resulted in searches at several locations linked to businessman Muhammad Riza Chalid, including PT Orbit Terminal Merak and a Pertamina fuel terminal. Authorities have confiscated documents, mobile phones, and CCTV footage for further analysis.
