As part of their security efforts ahead of an upcoming plenary session, the Indonesian Military-the Indonesian National Police (INP) Damai Cartenz Joint Operation 2024 conducted a raid in front of the General Election Commission (KPU) Office  in Bintang Mountains on Friday (23/2/2024). The raid aimed to ensure safety, order, and prevent any potential disturbances before the scheduled plenary session set for 2 March  2024. Joint operation officers inspected vehicles and individuals passing through the area to ensure the absence of any items that could disrupt the smooth conduct of the plenary session. The collaborative initiative between the military and police was intended to support the safe and orderly progress of the plenary session for all residents of Bintang Mountains district. Chief of Damai Cartenz Operation 2024, Senior Superintendent Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, emphasized the importance of vigilance among personnel to avoid any disruptions during the upcoming plenary session in every district. "Stay vigilant and monitor the situation there to ensure the smooth conduct of the plenary session," he said. (mg/ri/hn/nm)
