Semarang Station Returns Lost Bag Worth Half A Billion Rupiah

Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang.  Security personnel at Semarang Tawang Station, located in Central Java, retrieved a lost bag containing valuables worth Rp 510 million and returned it to its owner. According to Franoto Wibowo, the Public Relations Manager of state-owned railway company PT KAI in Semarang, the lost bag was reported by a passenger on Sunday (7/4/2024). The bag, which contained precious metals and foreign currency, was promptly found in the waiting area and returned to its owner at Jakarta Gambir Station. Franoto emphasized the importance of passengers remaining vigilant about their belongings, especially during the bustling Eid al-Fitr travel season. (mg/inp/pr/nm)
