Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police's Traffic Corps has extended the one-way traffic system for Eid al-Fitr homecoming travel on the Trans Java toll road from kilometer 72 Cipali Toll to kilometer 414 Kalikangkung Toll, Semarang, Central Java, until Monday (8/4) at 12 pm. Originally set to end on April 7, 2024, at 12 pm, the one-way traffic scheme was prolonged due to ongoing congestion toward the east of Java Island, as reported by antaranews.com. "However, considering the data collected for traffic management activities toward the east, we opted to extend it until a reassessment on Monday," said Traffic Corps Chief Inspector General Aan Suhanan. The decision to extend the one-way system was prompted by a slight increase in eastbound traffic on the toll road. (mg/inp/pr/nm)
